We've been busily creating special holiday things for the Sand Point Antique & Design Market in Seattle next weekend...

Any guesses what these are?!

Yep... stockings! I heard that recent shipments of Joan d' Arc Living products are low on burlap stockings, so I am determined to have lots of them to offer lovers of Scandinavian style.

I've made some brand new 'Ice Queen' Crowns, too, and I just looove those vintage 'ice chunk' crystals we found at the Rose Bowl. We'll have more ornaments & decorations, and our signature 'upcycled' home furnishings & accessories - Bob is busy out in the shop, creating more of his fabulous pieces for you to enjoy!

Somehow when I was taking final shots yesterday afternoon, I neglected to get the 'full shots' of the setup in our room. DUH. In my own defense, I was really, really tired! So we went back this morning and took a few -

It was a busy day at the shop for the Open House Block Party (see post below) and a lot of our vintage goodies sold (including our vintage-style tricycle!). So, if you see something that you like in these photos, get into Poppyseeds tomorrow or it might just be gone... 

The bed shown, by the way, is a regular twin size. It is set up as a 'short', as used in window displays and such.  The price of $125. is for the headboard & footboard only - they will attach to a standard metal bed frame (like the ones you get from Sleep Country when you buy a mattress.....) OR if you want to create a toddler bed, you can attach a few boards from Home Depot! ;0)

*A 4' diameter round vintage metal table (repainted with a weathered light gray finish; has central umbrella hole) that would work splendidly outdoors, indoors, or as a retail display fixture (you can run electric lines for lamps up thru the hole!) priced at $95. Table top easily separates from legs for transport.

*A very comfortable rocking chair, spacious enough for a man but with curvy lines that girls love, can be yours for $145. The seat has a burlap slipcover over it - but beneath it, the original upholstery is in perfect condition! It's a small floral in ivory, gray, and pink. Here's a closer look at the rocking chair...*A simple desk or dressing table, made from solid hardwood with original brass hardware. We did paint over the hardware! (it was bright finish brass - sturdy and long-lasting, but not quite fashionable anymore). Seven drawers - two file-size - offer plenty of storage in this slim-profile piece of furniture. *The magnificent solid wood 'Butler's Table' or 'Hall Tree', made from an antique front door from Seattle, a leg & trim from an Eastlake table, and hooks from a century-old building in Texas, is still available! It features a painted 'weathered' gray finish and white trimwork, and the vintage mirror (not permanently attached) is included!
